June 16, 2007 - Tiger Cubs will learn about how family and community have changed over time in Washington County as they explore local history through stories and activities. They will discover what family life was like for both Native Americans and settlers. They will also be introduced to one of the most important animals in the state of Oregon - the beaver. This program meets Achievements 1G: Visit a museum and 2F: Look at a map of your community, as well as Electives 14: Reading Fun and 31: Learn about an animal.
